The SealSafe enables you to transport your samples from collection to the lab under a vacuum with or without formalin. You can monitor the time and temperature and maintain control over the entire fixation process. The tissue samples may be kept without formalin for up to 72 hours under a vacuum. If the tissue samples are under a vacuum only, then they are transported in cold-storage bags at a temperature of 0°C to 4°C. Thanks to the RFID logger, all of the time and temperature data are continuously documented. The RNA remains intact because the tissue is not fixed. As a result, the SealSafe is well suited for molecular pathology. The SealSafe is able to reseal the bag to store the tissue sample. The SealSafe automatically calculates the corresponding volume of formalin.
